Learn How to Lower Holiday Stress with FemCity Orlando
(Orlando, FL – November 1, 2013) The holidays are a time of love, giving… and stress. To help alleviate some of that tension, FemCity Orlando is offering the gift of peace through yoga and meditation on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at 6 p.m. at the Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center of Florida.
Local yoga instructor Candice Mitchell will lead the group in a short and simple yoga session, while writer/speaker Puja Madan will lead a brief meditation. Both practices are designed to be used throughout the holiday season. Dress comfortable and bring a yoga mat, if you have one.
Founded in March 2012 by Leah Nash, the Orlando chapter of Femfessionals hosts monthly networking events for diverse groups of ambitious women who are looking to make new strategic connections to strengthen their business and social circle. Events are typically limited to no more than 30 guests in order to provide a welcoming, intimate and exclusive environment for each female guest.
Femfessionals connects ambitious professional women through “connection events,” originative workshops, social media and www.femfessionals.com, creating individual communities within cities (FemCities) around the world. A Femfessional is a savvy business woman characterized as positive, open-minded, driven, professional, ambitious and desirous of forming strong strategic connections to benefit each other personally and professionally, and to the benefit of her community. Not only is she motivated to succeed, she is passionate about the success of others around her. Follow @FemCityOrlando on Twitter and like FemCity Orlando on Facebook at facebook.com/FemOrlando.
